Thank you!

Thank you for the 259 votes, which means that I am on reserve for the county council.

Who am I?

I am Satu Ramsland, a mother of three running for county council in Länsi-Uusimaa. I have keen interest in making sure that wellbeing services are easily accessible and available when needed. My interest in wellbeing and especially healthcare services stems from personal experience: one of my children was born as a very small preemie.

I have a Masters degree in Technology from Aalto University and work as an information security manager at a global consulting company. My professinal CV can be found in LinkedIn.

Want to know more about me? I keep actively posting on Facebook and Instagram, sometimes also on Twitter.

County Elections

The first county elections are conducted in Finland in January 2022. These will determine how wellbeing services will be organised within each county. I want everyone to have access to the wellbeing services they need. We must also make sure that decision-making is forward-looking and driven by facts.

My thought on counties and their services

Healthcare, social and rescue services are some of the very core services of our society.

I want decision making in the counties to be forward-looking while also understanding the current needs. This is important, as we are facing changes in demographics with an aging population. We also need to take families and other caregivers into account in decision making, as their role will only grow. I also promise to promote good and functioning administration, which is one of the first things that county councils need to establish.
